INTERNATIONAL PROJECTS
Clasijazz is deeply committed to cultural exchange and international collaboration. Our projects connect artists, young people, and creative minds across Europe and beyond. We host youth exchanges and send participants abroad to take part in similar experiences, promoting learning, diversity, and intercultural dialogue.
aMusic Your Mind – Youth Exchange
As part of the Erasmus+ program, Clasijazz has participated in innovative projects like “Hit the Buck” — a video game designed to help young entrepreneurs develop both musical knowledge and financial management skills for running a cultural center.
Every year, through the European Solidarity Corps, Clasijazz welcomes some international volunteers who spend a full year immersed in our community, gaining hands-on experience in cultural management, production, and social impact projects.

We are also proud to host international festivals such as Amsterdam Meets Clasijazz — a creative encounter where musicians from both countries come together to collaborate on concerts, experience the local arts scene, and enjoy the region’s rich gastronomy. This innovative concept can be adapted to other cities as well, evolving into City Meets Clasijazz — a cultural project that celebrates music, connection, and community.

RURAL CLASIJAZZ
A cultural program by Clasijazz, created from and for the rural areas of Almería, based on three pillars: nature, habitat, and performing arts. A cultural ecosystem where traditional and contemporary knowledge come together to build diverse and hybrid realities.
CLASIJAZZ MUSIC SCHOOL
Clasijazz Music School provides musical training that focuses on teaching students to play in groups. Our approach emphasizes discovering new ways to make music beyond just reading scores, prioritizing active listening skills and the development of improvisation.
While Clasijazz Music School does not specialize in a specific musical style, our classes are tailored to meet the needs of each student. We encourage exploration of modern music genres such as funk, blues, soul, and jazz.
We believe that making music in a group is not only the most effective way to learn but also the most enjoyable. That’s why we offer a variety of group classes that allow students to play with other musicians and apply their knowledge in practical settings.
Our educational program is designed for children, teenagers, adults, retirees, and individuals with functional diversity.
PORT OF SPAIN
Port of Spain is a legendary pub located in Almería, Spain. Originally opened on February 28, 1980, by Christian Salas, it quickly became a cultural and social landmark in the city, frequented by notable figures such as José Ángel Valente, Muñoz Molina, Camarón de la Isla, José Mercé, and Tomatito.
After closing its doors in 2006, the space was brought back to life in 2022 by the cultural association Clasijazz, who aimed to revive its bohemian and Parisian spirit.
Today, Port of Spain offers a vibrant program of live music, jam sessions, and cultural events, staying true to its welcoming atmosphere and deep connection to the local arts scene.
