January 7th – The first CJBb Pro Rehearsal
We were expecting this moment for a long time and finally the BigBand musicians arrived to Clasijazz. After several months of planning, discussing and programming the Clasijazz BigBand Pro Proyect, we finally met them all at the first rehearsal on Thursday January 7th. Everyone was smiling, shinning and joking. Some of them had never met each other before, others on contrary enjoyed this moment as a sweet reunion. It was a moment of joy for everyone.
At 16:00 Pablo started the first meeting working on a great repertoire called “Women Composers” planned to be performed for the first concert on Sunday 10th. The rehearsal took almost 4 hours with a break. They did a great job and left Clasijazz that night with enthusiasm and positive expectations.
Concert Jaume Llombart and Enrique Oliver
This was a magic evening, with impressive music of this Duo Jaume&Oliver in the Salón de Parque. This two musicians presented their new album “Everything I love” and many other amazing pieces of their music. Among listeners were of course their colleagues from the Big Band, friends, regular and also new Clasijazz guests. These concerts in the Salón de Parque always have special ambiente, atmosphere, connecting all people together in the rhythm. Hopefully this was not the last concert of this Duo at Clasijazz.
